Hamilton over the years.

Self-explanatory, but after seeing it, I have spire envy. And verandah envy. And fence envy. And gate envy.

I 💜💜💜 this post. I grew up in Kelvin Grove but adjacent to Herston where I went to school at the little Catholic school which is no longer there. The nuns lived in Clydesdale at the time. Clyde Rd was the boundary between KG and Herston. Always saw the hospital on our bus run and later worked there for a few years.

Hi Cass, I spent my early childhood in a little house in Herston – across a deep gully from the back of the hospital. I remember seeing tadpoles in a little stream at the bottom of the gully. I went to Kelvin Grove High, although by then my family had moved to Ashgrove. Thank you for liking my post!
